I was excited to get this cup for our baby being recently that she took up drinking from a straw and lovesssss her ice water. This cup kept popping up and with the reviews I thought- heck why not give it a try?! Get it the next day, washed it and… I was already irritated with the darn thing. The lid does not screw on tightly, it leaked everywhere. I was bummed. I will say my baby loves to hold the cup and drink out of it. But it definitely leaks when you put it on its side or upside down. I would opt for another cup when looking for one to introduce to your baby for straw use. It’s cute but not practical in my opinion.

This cup is amazing, it’s my 10 month old daughter’s first straw cup. I demonstrated ONCE how to suck the straw and she understood like 30 seconds later. We are starting the slow process of weaning from a bottle to a cup and I’m SO happy that we bought this. Just holding it and cleaning it you can tell it’s made extremely well. I love that there are ounce measurements so I can track her intake. And it’s very easy to clean. I also like that it’s not very heavy so she can easily hold it when filled. Finally, there’s no biting the straw to get the liquid so I find this to be a nursing friendly cup since I’m still breastfeeding! It’s a win win and I’m so glad I didn’t need to slog through a bunch of bottles to find *the one*.

We love this cup and so does our daughter. It has a pretty ingenious design. Our favorite part of the cup is that you can always tell when the lid is on properly due to the locking mechanism. The head of the animal should always be on straight. That’s how you know it’s on properly. That has helped us avoid so many spills. This is a great design and perfectly made for little toddler hands.

Got a pink one for my daughter back in 2014. Really good quality and has lasted all these years. Loved so much we recently got one for our son, in black. Super disappointed. The quality of plastic used is noticeably lower quality. The handles are flimsy and the edges are a bit sharp. The older model has a little tiny vent hole in front of the straw. Newest model has the same little hole, but the difference is that the newer one leaks profusely from that hole. Really not worth the $20 I spent on this junk.

I was looking for a straw cup that didn’t require my son to bite down on the straw (as that is not a realistic way of drinking). This cup is perfect and we were able to teach my son to drink from it at 6 months! I know without the stopper in the straw we are more likely to see spills but as long as he doesn’t play with his cup we’re good! Easy to take apart and clean. Straw tends to stain easily but you can buy replacement straws.
