Key Words: Boxset

My kid enjoys reading. This book was very useful for kids 5yr old.pack of 6 books.packaging was too good.

Great books for my little one learning to read. I’ve combed through so many other early readers at my local library and they don’t compare. Others often use to many long names or words. I love how these books focus on the basics first and repeat key words throughout each book. My only suggestion is to update the 70’s style illustrations. The main reason my local library discontinued carrying them.

Excellent choice for the commencement of English.

Se lo compré a mis hijos para que se iniciasen en la lectura en inglés con un método nativo, y sobre todo escuchando las opiniones de otras personas que aprendieron a leer con este método.Mis hijos no son bilingües, pero nos ha encantado el método. Son historias super simples y sencillas, que introducen muy pocas palabras pero con fonemas claves para esta lengua, (a mí personalmente me parecen hasta demasiado fáciles), pero entiendo que para iniciarse debe de ser así, por que si no a lo mejor se frustran. Mi hijo mayor (6) está encantadísimo porque se ve capaz de leer en inglés como un adulto, y de tanto leerlos ya los sabe de memoria.La edición es perfecta. Viene en una caja de cartón duro y plastificado. Los libritos son finos y de pasta dura y la calidad del papel es buena. Eso sí, los dibujos siguen una tipología de ilustraciones antigua, como de la época en que fueron primeramente editados. A mis hijos eso no les ha importado para nada, (a mi tampoco).Envío: rápido y bien embalado

My siblings and I all used the Ladybird Peter and Jane series to learn how to read English as a second language, uh, 30+ years ago, and I just had to get them for my son now because I know how I was taught using these books and know it is a tried and proven method and series of booklets. I was so happy to find they were available on Amazon NEW for a reasonable price! They still look old school and exactly like the ones I remember. My husband thought it was crazy that I was getting what looks like outdated art and reading material and questioned my purchase in the beginning, but he can't argue the fact that his very young son is reading now and doing so well with phonics! I still can't believe I was able to get the whole series on Amazon! Love it!
