Buen juego, pero la opción de VR no aporta nada, si lo compráis con esa intención ya os digo que no merece la pena.

This game made me very happy when I finished it probably around 8 hours (got the platinum too). As someone who is 35 years old and can get 1 hour of playtime per day max - I prefer my games being on a short side. But I think even without this fact it's the ideal game length for such a game. A game where you don't need to kill any enemies and do any side missions given to you by another NPC. First of all, the game is beautiful - really colorful, has an interesting art style and it all looks stunning on my 90 inch laser projector screen. Then there is the story of the boy trying to save his hometown from some weird COVID-19 equivalent affecting water which made me interested in how it develops at least. Gameplay is quite basic from one angle and very unique from another angle. You go through levels trying to find numerous collectibles (unlocking new painting elements), doing some basic tasks and sneaking around so you're not noticed by some less positive kids. Nope, you can't kill them - I tried. And you need to paint. A lot, really. But there is so much freedom that it doesn't get boring. What got a bit boring for me at least is some enemy fights on the later stage, but let's avoid spoilers here. Another slight letdown was that my 6 year old daughter was a bit scared of some sounds and paintings, so that was another game I had to play when she went to sleep, but that applies to 99% of games I play, so it's not a problem and certainly is not the game design flaw. One thing I haven't tried is the VR mode - haven't been taking out the headset from the drawer for 2+ years, so wasn't too keen to do it knowing that the VR mode is just a small bonus in this game taking really short amount of time to complete. So, who this game is for? Someone who wants to relax while playing, someone who wants to be creative and someone who is open to new gaming experiences. It's certainly not the game for someone who can't live without headshots and tough enemies. I liked it. A lot. If there is a sequel - I'll surely buy it.

I loved this game, it's art style and graphics are really something different and frequently stunning to experience. The Story of the game is told with a well voiced script inside and out of its partly stop animation blended cut scenes.The control method of using the motion sensor in the joypad to paint is optional and i found using the right stick option easier. The game has great movement control and adding verticality to the game really made for some great views and options, the ability to escape across roof tops and using telegraph wires as zip lines was not expected and really well done.The game is essentially split into two halves, the first being painting and exploration and the second being more action based with extra movement abilities granted on top of what ash can already do. PAINT SKATING! YES!This is not an a massively long game , i finished it in three sittings each a few hours long ( i havent found all the collectibles though), and its worth noting that after the main story has played out and the credits have rolled selecting continue takes you back into the game with a lot more content and things to do post storyline!!!!i will easily go back tp replay this again and again, its like a good book or a movie you go back to. The length of the game is reflected in its lower price which makes it a bargain for me as there is still so much to do and see!Overall a very unique and enjoyable game with a great story .
