Gods Judgement on the angels and nations as shown to Enoch
A fascinating yet frightening look behind the scenes in heaven, it is a book handed down to Methusaleh by his father Enoch before the Flood and yes, angels could write and yes, Enoch was a scribe. It's intention is to be a warning to generations to come. It explains judgement on various generations and the form thereof as well as God's intolerance to sin and disobedience which started with the fall of Angels and their destiny. It explains situations we, as Christians, often ponder on. Here we find a lot of answers, and it is a shame that this book is not better known or read by God fearing Christians. I highly recommend it, very appropriate for these last days.

Good read
Enoch is no longer included in the old testament of most Bibles. It is a prophetic book that was, at one time, part of the Hebrew Old Testament. The prophecies are really interesting, and if you are into Biblical Prophecy as I am, you will probably find this book interesting. A little difficult to read due to the translation of the writings of Enoch, but all in all a good read.

Good read
A good read for Christ seekers and eschatology readers. I do encourage before this read that you read the Bible first for a basis of true understanding.

very interesting
The book of Enoch is interesting. There are parts that enlighten and parts that I’m not so sure of. I did enjoy having the audio to accompany it. It is said it was written by not only Enoch but others so with that I will not take it as the words from God. But I still found it interesting.

This is a book that may relect the ideology of some Jews in the intertestamental period
Enoch is not part of the Bible. In fact, much of what is in it does not match what is in the Hebrew Bible or the New Testament. It is filled with superstitious ideas. I Enoch was composed sometime around 200 BCE. The third century was a period of enormous distress for Jews, and the masses, unable to help themselves, sought an explanation for the evil around them and prayed for supernatural aid. Enoch was not unique in differing from mainstream Judaism. The writings of the times did not generally reflect mainstream Jewish thinking and contained many borrowed terms from non-Jewish sources. I Enoch, for example, is the first book that interprets Genesis 6 as a description of fallen angels. It describes a group of angels who descend to earth because of a sexual lust for earthly women. They defile their pure heavenly essence by joining with the women and having children who are giants. They teach their wives and children knowledge that humans should not have, such as the ability to write and the process of performing abortions. Their children befoul the earth and lead to the flood in the days of Noah.

Rather, the Book of Extra Terrestrials
I was born a Christian. Ever since I was about 15 I was a true believer in spirituality rather than Christianity, but I do believe in an omnipotent God. What do I believe about the Book of Enoch? In Genesis of the Bible it says Enoch walked with God for 300 years. In this time he wrote what is called an apocryphal text (one that was strickened from the bible). Much like the Bible, the Book of Enoch can be interpreted in multiple ways. Looking on it as my current status, I believe it was a book of Extra Terrestrials and poor ol' Enoch didn't know what he was experiencing due to his lack of technology, hence why he thought these beings were Gods... BUT Looking on it from my prior Christian view, I can totally understand why anyone who is a fullhearted Jew or Christian would accept this wonderfully written text as fact. Regardless of how I see this book, I must say that if you are looking for the same psychedelic experiences as in the Holy Bible Genesis through Revelations, grab this easy to read apocryphal text immediately. There is talk of beings being cast into darkness forever, sheep that write books, and even multiple lords, for example there is a lord of sheep (I thought there was only one lord...but you will find out thats not the case as God actually gives up his throne for a brief hiatus). Totally a 5/5
