These are great clippers so far but some of my dogs nails are very thick and is a tight fit at largest opening setting. Wish it opened just a little wider and they would be perfect. So far we've used them twice and they haven't broken like our previous clippers. My dog has thick tough nails and so far these clippers are holding up well and working pretty good.

These are the best dog clippers on the market. Don’t even hesitate you will love them and be thankful you bought them. Then you will write a great review and let others know about them. I am thankful for these clippers every time I use them in my standard poodle and my little puppy.

It does the job especially if you pet is cooperative. I have to large dogs and it works well on one and moderately on the other. My only complaint is the chunkiness of the handles. I have small hands and the handles are almost too large for me to use comfortably. They are as wide as my hand so I cannot get the quickest snap that I need. And I need it to be quick for my one dog. He doesn't like to have his paws held since they are very ticklish and the nails are very thick so I still have to maneuver the cutters on the nail. They do work better for my husband since his hands are bigger but it is usually me doing the cutting. I don't believe the smaller size would get large enough for my dogs nails. All and all I would recommend them, especially if you have larger hands.

Very solid very sturdy worth the price but and there’s always a button. I have a big dog and at the widest opening can barely get the worst nails through.
