The fact that they are full round bearings makes them superior to the older style that were rolled and locked together.Before installing, it is recommended to put a slight chamfer on the inside edge facing the front to allow for a little more ease of camshaft install. It does not have to be much, just break the edge a bit.Aside from that, they work great right out of the box as long as you have an installation tool in good working order.
