Simply Clean
So I purchased this purifier at the end of 2020. I’ve had it in my car since the day it arrived. Setting it up was super simple and visually it looks great with my cars interior (sleek and black). I chose to put mine on the back of the headrest, though it could go on the center counsel as well. I’ve definitely noticed a difference when it’s running, the air even smells cleaner. The filter is HEPA H13, it makes me feel safe driving without a mask on knowing the air is pure. Definitely recommend :)

Seems To Work Okay - Fails to Start Automatically - Limits Placement Options
My wife is very reactive to pollen, grass, etc. After using this product for a couple months on long trips, it seems to work pretty well. It's difficult to know for sure but the air in the car does seem to be cleaner. However, it needs to be turned on manually when power is back on (when you start the vehicle). This limits placement options due to needing to reach the unit to power it on. They provide a device to allow it to be hung behind a seat. Very difficult (impossible?) to reach even when the vehicle is stopped, and downright dangerous if the driver were to attempt to do it while the vehicle is moving. This, in my mind, is a serious negative if you don't have a place to locate it within reach. We have an SUV with a flat center console between the two front seats and placed it there. It does take up room and make it difficult to access the console storage but is easy to reach and likely provides 'fresh' air to the front seat passengers. The plug takes up an accessory outlet (cig lighter). If you only have one you cannot be charging a device at the same time. We have two outlets but sometimes need to charge/power more than one at a time. We're going to buy a duplex adapter but will need to be mindful of the amperage draw so as to not blow a fuse.PROS:1. Relatively compact size2. Has 2-speed fan3. Has ionizer.4. Turns off when power to the outlet is off5. Reasonably quiet, especially on low fan speedCONS:1. Does not turn on automatically when power is back on (when you start your vehicle.)2. Location options are limited due to need to turn on manually.3. The cig lighter plug takes up a outlet (one of only two in my vehicle) and lacks a USB port to plug in a cellphone charger. While I can recommend this product, it's not based on any scientific research. It does seem to help but doubtful that it actually purifies the air in the entire vehicle. We suggest you check the measurements and determine if there is a place to locate it WHERE IT CAN BE REACHED.

Wow.. a car purifier with enough power to actually purify.
I ordered the 3 leading air purifiers for the car, and they do NOT compare with this one.My fear was that the better filter would clean the air it collected better, but not collect as much air because of the filter limiting the available suction of air.I am happy to say that was not an issue. As a matter of fact, when I turned it on I was surprised how much more powerful it was than the others, and then, I realized that I hadn't even turned it up yet.On LOW it has more power than the others do at maxThen I realized I could turn on the ionizer to make even more of a difference to help create the type of crisis feeling air you get after it rains. If I was to say anything about it I wish was different it would be that it only has a fixed cigarette lighter plug and no way to use it on an ac plug in the house. The look is sleek and professional looking. It is slightly larger than the others I tried. Touch controls make it feel and look modern. Not like a home air purifier you pulled from the attic to try to make something work.I can't speak to weather the scientific claims they make are real or not because I wouldn't even know how to test that. But I can say it feels like it is doing everything I expected and more.If you're on the fence about buying this, I would say absolutely do it. Don't waste your time with others you're just going to return anyway. This is the one to get

SAFETY HAZARD - HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT PURCHASING
I will start by saying that I have had good experiences with other Medify Air products and they have responsive customer support. However, this product has me very disappointed and terrified from my experience When I turned it on I did not hear a fan or feel air flow. I played with the settings, watched videos, etc. with no luck. I was told that it is quiet and sent a very basic and useless video. Upon closer inspection I learned that if I manually turned the fan motor (after removing the filter) I can hear a grinding sound.Well I happened to be driving and forgot the unit was powered on - an easy mistake since it wasn't doing anything. While on the interstate the fan motor started to finally spin. It made an awful noise followed by a strong burning odor. This was all at night, at high speed, in fairly dense traffic. It was a terrifying experience as I couldn't reach the connector or the unit and had to quickly get off the road.I can say that Medify Air likely lost a loyal customer based on my experience with this product.
