I've been using Magic in the blue can for almost 50 years. I couldn't use shaving gel or cream and razors because it always left bumps on my neck. Once I got pass the odor once it was mixed with hot water, similar to rotting eggs, it was clear shaving. Now that I'm retired, I don't have to shave every few days. I wait two to three weeks so that I have a thick enough growth. This way the paste can be shaved off evenly and not flake. I use a dull butter knife as my razor. I use warm water and a face cloth to remove any residue, then a mild soap. That's it.

I've used Magic Shave for 33 years. Excellent product if used correctly. The non fragrant Magic Shave mixes easier with hot or cold water. The fragrant version mixes fine/well with hot water. I use the fragrant version and use hot water. Thickness is controlled by how much powder to water mixture.

My husband used this product on his entire body. It worked quickly & no irritation to any parts of his skin.After mixing, I helped apply with a new 4” paint brush, for ease & fast coating. Waited about 5-6 minutes & hair was easily falling off with a swipe of a sponge. 👍
