For me it's useful because it prompts me to do the reading. I tend to jump around chapters and skim, but using the study guide I find myself going back and rereading certain chapters. I think it helps reinforce the subject. Worth it.

Be careful, this book is the "study guide", a book of exercises that comes with the McMillan book "Options as a strategic investment" book. It is designed to be used with the book so it is a good book to test your knowledge on options trading but it is wothless if you don't already own the book (which by the way is not for sale on Amazon! I saw the 4th edition from 2002, but not the 5th edition from 2012...) or a good knowledge about options and you want to test that knowledge.

It is not clear that this is not a text is just a series of exercises to test the level of knowledge of the real book .. that Amazon does not sell because finished .. bad transparency by Amazon communication

The book is very thorough and detailed. The study guide helps in focusing on the most important topics and confirming you understand them.
