John Deere L120 L130 Transmission AM131580

My husband installed it on a 11-year-old L120 with over 700 hours on it. Seeing that it was his first time changing a lawn tractor transmission, it did not go so smoothly. It took maybe a couple of hours to figure out how to remove the old transmission. But once removed, installing the new one went pretty quick. Some instructions from John Deere would have been helpful. Never the less, once installed, it worked just fine. The L120 can now go up grades again and move at a good clip.Unbelievably fast delivery and a great price. (Over $700 from my local Deere dealer).

Very satisfied with Ag-pro the supplier of the John Deere L120 transmission. My delay in responding is that we just put the transmission a week ago. It is working well as expected.

Over $650 ITEM AND IT LASTED LESS THAN ONE CUTTING SEASON. The 90 day guarantee is ridiculous. From reviews I have read this is a John Deere known problem for which they do nothing about. Reputation is now destroyed for me and I will not buy another product of theirs.

Great. Fit right in. Came 3 days before it was promised. Price was better that awesome. Will check this seller 1st before anyone else. (Including local dealer), unless an emergency.

Exactly as advertised. Took a couple of hours to install. Several videos on YouTube worth watching.& You need 2 jack stands and a small hydraulic jack to make it easy. Metric sockets and wrenches are required. Works as advertised. Hope it last longer than the factory version. JD sold a poorly design product and doesn't stand behind it3year update: unit starting to slowly fail like the original. Sluggish, difficult climbing hills, Motor is strong. Definitely the weakest link.

Shipment was quick and while it was well packaged, the transmission had shifted and the end of the axle was sticking out of the package (hence 4 stars and not 5). Once it was removed, no visible issues, still straight and true. Simple to install and my lawn tractor was up and going again. I would order from this vendor again, but I would try an ensure the transmission is packaged a little better.

This part was exactly like the original hopefully I can get 15 years out of this one my lawn tractor travels like new again.
