I use this supplement to help keep purpura (bruising, blood blisters just beneath the skin) off my arms and hands. Due to medications I have to take for RA and also my age I easily bruise on my arms and hands. Taking this supplement is supposed to assist in building the cell structure back up in your cappillaries which are breaking and causing the red and purple blotcches just under the skin. After taking this product for several months those stopped happening! My arms and hands looked normal once again! When I stopped taking it on a regular basis the bruising did start up again. So I'm trying to make sure I take it every day. It works so well for me. Worth a try!

Works well, but do not take too much of it

I started taking this after reading online about citrus flavonoids helping with senile purpura (easily bruising on my arms).I'm 67 and was having this problem often. I also was becoming very self-conscious of how it looked.After just a couple of weeks of taking it once daily, I hardly ever see any more bruising, and my skin overall, looks much healthier.I recommend.

I take a lot of supplements and, because I eat low carb (not atkins), I avoid fruit juice. This provides citrus bioflavonoids, which are really good antioxidants and favor other physiological processes.NOW uses GMP on all the products I buy from them, and I believe this is made GMP, which is really great for the consumer. FDA permits supplement companies to sell you almost anything under any name. GMP is pharma grade.

As I get older I discovered a skin condition that causes bruises to last, what seemed to be, forever. These purple bruises happen mostly on my arms. I usually don't even know it happened because it can happen on even the slightest bumping into a table or door.These many bruises would take several weeks to even start to fade. So, I did some research and found there had been some good results by taking Citrus Bioflavonoids. So, I gave it a try and discovered my bruises started fading within just a couple of days and disappear after a much shorter time than it was fading before taking these pills. Also with these pills, the bruises fade to the point of being mostly invisible.If you have this problem of bruising, that take several weeks to start fading, then I suggest you at least give this a try. It worked for me.

I think my body react well with this brand! Help me relax a bit! Quality of sleep is better!

I had big incident this summer. I have not much hearing In one ear because of otitis media. Suddenly I lost a lot of hearing in right ear. I am not young. Doctors suggested a lot of causes. Necessary good nutrition was mentioned by more than one otologist. I was only taking a multi vitamin and calcium and vitamin D. I looked up what one should take for good hearing. I hoped to restore some lost hearing in both ears. I bought a lot of products mentioned in a particular article on hearing and this is one of the products. I did not restore hearing in bad ear with otitis media (with perforated ear drum and non existent Eustachian tube). I don't know what to attribute restoration of hearing (I have not had a hearing test since September) to some extent in right ear. I'm taking so many vitamins and anti oxidants. So I'm giving this a 3 star until I can study the hearing issue again. This product may or may not be useful. There are hearing tests on the internet. I chose one and I take my hearing every week. I have tracked restoration of hearing at the 8,000 hertz level which I hope to confirm if a hearing doctor will just authorize another hearing test. I have not bought a hearing aid yet and have been told I can only use one in one ear that does not have otitis media. Anything is worth a try to save one's hearing.

My 83 yr. old husband started having "senile purpura" a couple months ago -- dark purple bruising all over his forearms, which bled if he just rubbed against something. It was awful, so we looked online and the only solution we could find was citrus bioflavanoids. This brand also has Rutin, which our dermatologist recommended. It is working great!! The spots are fading and not bleeding so easily! Just received our 2nd bottle of 100. 2 capsules a day is the dosage.
