PetmateBooda Clean Step Cat Litter Box Dome Replacement Litter Box Liners- Jumbo

Thankfully these fit my cat's Booda Dome litter box better than the liner that the box came with, but they are definitely not as durable as the original liner. I have yet to notice any tearing in the plastic from my cat's claws when she kicks/digs to cover her mess with litter, but I've read many reviews that mentioned it and I fear it is inevitable. To avoid this, I've been using two liners; the bottom one will catch any spills if the top one is ripped. If the top liner doesn't rip, then I leave the bottom one in place under the next new top liner. I don't mind doubling up on liners thanks to the reasonable price.

In the span of 2 years, I have tried 4 different litter boxes for my kitty. Apartment living is challenging for litterbox maintenance, especially with a kitty who digs so much. I read the reviews here and can see why some of the reviews were negative. However, I have found that HANDS DOWN, this is the best litter box for containing odor, reducing litter, trailing and dust, and is also aesthetically pleasing, stylish.Here is my secret for success:1. I use litter box liners, which I have shown in the picture. I line the box with 2 as a double layer. This prevents any ripping from excessive digging. They fit inside this particular model and keep everything manageable. I scoop my box once every morning, then top off the litter with a little sprinkling a fresh litter.2. I use sweet scoop or World's best -- both are natural litters -- and scoop and flush it directly into my toilet! I only flush one urine or bowel movement at a time, so I do not clog the toilet. It breaks up very easily and flushes. No stinky litter genie to manage, cheaper, and less plastic in the landfill!!3. I sweep the little teency bit of litter trail which is only right in front of the step after I scoop. Easy peasy.4. A huge pro for me is that there is a charcoal filter included in the dome of this litter box. It’s really awesome especially for apartment living where we don’t have the luxury of hiding the litter box in a basement!5. Once a week, I just pick up the entire litter liner bag and put it in the trash. The bottom of the litter box is spotless. no need to worry about the scooper missing spots due to the curved pan shape, as some have complained about. Some have also complained about urine leaking out the side or the top not staying on. I have had none of these problems and I am sure the plastic liner eliminates any risk of leakage.So products I use in a nutshell to keep litter area obsessive-level clean:- this litter box-Petmate jumbo litterbox liners- Swheat Scoop flushable cat litter- plastic or nonstick scooper- Catguru scoop caddy-small handheld brush and dustpan

I put liners to make it easier to clean, but even with that, it’s still very difficult. Additionally, it’s an oddly shaped litter box, which makes it hard for my cats. They don’t use the small corners towards the front or the back by the steps, so that really leaves just the more open middle portion. Since I bought this, I’ve had my cats peeing outside of the box even though I clean it daily. Never had an issue like that before, so I have to either give it away or throw it away.

Though these liners feel stury, and do a pretty good job, one needs to be cateful when scooping so as not to accientally scrape a hole in the liner.Aside from that, decent quality and I'll buy them again.

I ordered the one you see in the picture, with the steps on the side, what I revised doesn’t resemble the picture at all. I got some basic cat box that’s no different than a typical cat box. Completely defeated the purpose of why I ordered this in the first place

I have been using these liners for over ten years. They have changed the product. It used to be thicker and more opaque. I don't like the product anymore. I assume it's cheaper to make, but now the quality is poor.

I had been buying this brand of liners in a roll from the pet store and they always worked fine so I thought I'd save some money by buying the same product in an 8-Pack (I didn't see a roll offered). The product itself works well, but the 8-Pack packaging is awkward to use compared to the roll, however, this is a small problem compared to the absence of the built in tie string that I'm used to using. It's difficult to tie a knot in a full liner and the package did not include twist ties. When I change liners now, I have to make sure that I've saved a twist tie from some other package. A good product, but not packed this way. I'll pay a little more in the future for the convenience.

This product does work for it's purpose, but did not fit with my litter box. When it showed as an add on to my dome litter box, I thought it would fit. I saw on a review that one used it for the dome litter box, but these litter liners were too small and could not wrap around the sides.The liners did not break when i poured the litter in. They work for cleaning the litter box out. But do not purchase with the Dome litter box. I am only giving it 4-stars because it is a good product, just not meant for the dome litter box.Thanks,
