Nemo Cosmo Insulated 50 L Sleeping Pad

My husband and I bought this to use with our new NEMO Tango Duo 30 & Slipcover 2P 25L down sleeping bag. The version of the sleeping bag we purchased required the use of two 25L pads, or one 50L pad. Based on my research, seemed like two pads strapped together is not the ideal situation; you get that "split" down the middle when pads separate slightly during the night, so we really preferred one large single pad. We are both side sleepers, so that was also a concern. Many other pads did not get good reviews for side sleepers. Well, this pad is fantastic!! It inflated easily with the built-in foot pump, deflated super fast, and best of all, was nice, firm and very comfortable, even for two side sleepers who toss and turn during the night. Slept great with this pad and would highly recommend!! Most of our equipment is ultralight, so this pad is a little larger and heavier option then we could have bought, but we think the trade-off for a few more ounces is worth it for a great night's sleep. Very happy with this purchase!! (Have not tried in cold weather yet, so can't speak to how well it insulates.) This pad also comes in a single version and a slimmer, shorter double version.
