No, that is incorrect. It plugs into the PSU then into the mobo.. I can't believee the seller doesn't know that but ok..lol

using this lianli strimer if you want it as a aura symc you need to use 3 pin header on your motherboard . but if you don't have don't put it in 4 pin 14v becoz lianli is only 5v .. you need to buy the 24 pin lianli so that you can combine it and it has a free switch for the two lianli ..
