599-211XD is a newer model of the 599-211. they are interchangable with each other.

Will this fit my 2004 Chevy Suburban 2500?

Yes it will as long as you have the automatic temperature control system.

What is warranty information only had under a year

Don't know about the warranty but mine gave problems as soon as I installed it. I could unplug it and plug it back in and it would work. Ended up being the light switch losing the connection. Replaced the light switch and fixed the problem.

Would this fit on a basic 2005 1500 model or does it have to be hd?
