Madame Gres for Women -100ml, Eau de Parfum-

Scent Not My Type...I should have not relied on positive reviews on perfumes not so familiar to me..

A strong scent so use it lightly. It's old fashioned (in a good way) and classy. I want to thank the seller for sending me a sample of Burberry brit. I will be purchasing it!

Very high quality and under-rated hidden gem! Sweet, fruity, floral juice that lasted all day on me. Highly recommend as this is a very affordable but high quality fragrance.

So good smell and Long lasting

I'd been aware of this perfume for some time and of reviews on even one of the dedicated perfume enthusiasts' websites likening it to Miss Dior - so I was happy to blind buy and give it a try. I had been very sceptical that a perfume costing £15.50 at time of writing could be all that good. And for the price you're getting a big 100ml bottle. That bottle actually looks beautiful. The glass has an ombre pale orange colour that becomes paler towards the base with the spray mechanism in chrome and a flat oval top in clear acrylic. The label in cream and black looks cleanly understated. The bottle doesn't give the impression of a £15.50 per 100ml fragrance. And I'm happy to say neither did the contents. To my amazement, it really did smell very much like Miss Dior. I sprayed it on just once on the pulse points around 3pm the first day of use - and I could still smell Madame Gres the next morning, albeit not strongly. So is there any difference between the two scents? Of course! But it is a subtle one. The depth present in Miss Dior, a more complex fragrance, is really not present in Madame Gres. Miss Dior seems to change subtly over the period it's worn. Madame Gres pretty much remains the same. I prefer Miss Dior - but I don't think Madame Gres is to be avoided and I'm glad I made her acquaintance. She's a much better fragrance than her price point suggests and a great discovery.

Zu Anfang fand ich es schrecklich,aber das volle Potential kam erst nach einer Weile. Es riecht sehr weiblich,blumig und süß. Ich habe den Kauf nicht bereut. Schade das es so teuer geworden ist.
