Very Disappointing!!
Very misleading information on the product. They are supposed to be Japanese chopsticks, but they are made in China. No where in the information on Amazon does it tell you they are not actually made in Japan.

Ooh, shiny!
They look good.They feel good.But they're kinda slippery. I'm not super experienced with chopsticks but I used plain wood ones before and it was so much easier to use those. Greasy or oily foods or worst of all, NOODLES, are not so easy to grab.But they don't fade out they still look nice after a couple months. I think they're a pretty decent gift, but ask your friend first.

these are beautiful chopsticks, they clean very easily, they are super easy to hold. they come in a nice little box that I can carry with me if I'd like to take them with me out to eat. really glad I purchased these.
