Nothing like advertised, does not give volume. Pretty standard mascara.

I usually don't do written reviews, but I just wanted to share that this mascara is awesome. I discovered it while looking up makeup tutorials for my wedding day. I needed a mascara that would add length and definition. Most importantly I needed a mascara that would actually be waterproof and sweat proof. As I sobbed tears of joy literally all through my wedding not a smudge or running to be had! 6 Hours of laughing, dancing, and emotionally tearing up STILL no smudging. After boogie-ing down to ABBA in layers upon layers of lace I was quickly becoming drenched in sweat BUT the mascara still looked flawless. The only potential flaw is that it stays on so well that you may have to use multiple makeup remover wipes to get the product off completely.

I’ve been using Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara and love it! One day, I forgot to apply a second coat and wish I had mascara on me. At that price, there’s no way I’m buying another just to keep in my purse. I read a lot of reviews and learned about L’Oréal Lash Paradise.The Too Faced mascara packaging has a lot of weight to it and the brush is a voluptuous hourglass shape. The L’Oréal mascara’s packaging is very light and the brush has a similar shape with similar bristles.The mascara itself gives the same results as its expensive counterpart. It’s the same length and volume. They both wash off the same with eye wash makeup remover.I will toggle between the two mascaras depending on which is on sale. You’re basically paying for the packaging with the Too Faced mascara. You will always find the L’Oréal in my purse!
