I have purchased this natural remedies book for my sister, she absolutely loved it! I have browsed it myself, highly recommended!

Its the same 2 books on herbs and aromatherapy but all in one which you do not know till it arrives but the illustratuions are beautiful, the information is however concise and there are "some" product making items and god recepies..May be nice as a gift to a new student and good that you have images of the herbs so that you know what you are picking or buying..Not for professionals but a start for students and tutors teaching beginners.. However the images are so beautiful that it may be one that a professional may wish to have in a collection of books that otherwise has all that they need..Tutors may appreciate the herb section and be able to use them in a class as part of a course so it depends on what you wish to do with it..There is information on how to mix oils and how the herbs can be used and a section on ailments but it does not teach on the ailments and it is in order by Latin name instead of English names which is dufficult to navigate unless you know the Latin names..There is information on base oils with images again..There are not standard base recepies for body products but there are recepies and a wide range of types of recepies but not many of the same type so for example, cream but there is not a range of cream recepies..The herb section is really quite huge and the book is varied so that it covers a lot of different things but the information on each things is not complete or plentiful and the basic oils are all there and additional oils so they have tried to cover quite a reasonble range of things..There is not a section for medication interactions which is essential for for those on medication but thats another book and there is not much on oil saftey on terms of medical conditions that certain oils may not be good for even though there are some precautions there are not much so this would be an additional book again an oil safety book would have that but no images or blends..On each page with the herbs for example there are recepies for that herb with details on herb preperations which is quite helpful and the book does show you how to do the oreperations within the book whether it is a decoation, infusion and so on.. and as for the oils there are blends and there is info on which catagory of oils go with which so flower oils blends well with x.y.z etcThe pages are thick and beautiful quality with a very high standard of images and time has clearly been taken to put it together.. A strong and well structured book that i expect will last long and the pages may even be able to be gently wiped if need be..There are some highly informative books out there that do not have these beautiful illustrations.. if i had have known that it was the same as the two books inalready had i would never have purchased it as it has a different name and the cosmetic section is the same as their other books ive seen copied from book to book , however for the images of the herbs if have got the herb book as well detailed books may not have all the images as it would be a lot of info to be complete..When reveiwing a book please make it as details as above or more then we all help eachother as "great book" or "just what we wanted" or "the box eas ripped and the seller did not reply to my email" does not help anyone make an informes decision on a book".I hope the above helps

Amazing book, has remedies for practically everything. From back pain to asthma, all problematic pains or issues you may have, this book has a remedy for (also has a section for children's remedies, how to make a balm and smoothie recipes).
