My daughter did a project on Turtles, tortoises and Sea Turtles, specializing in the Sea turtle area. These toys were a great addition to her presentation, and helped to show how sea turtles are so vulnerable before they even get in the ocean. They are build well (molded plastic that is solid.) They look great, and the paint is nice. not blobby like some other toys we have seen in this price range. Very nice toys/models.

This is a great toy to teach about the life cycle of sea turtles.The figures are small, but detailed, and very cute. I particularly was impressed with the juvenile and hatchling models. The adult did need a little bit of touch up, as the eyes were white and the underside was not painted, but with some cheap craft paint and about 5 minutes work, it looked as good as the other models. The detail of the scutes (scales) on the shell are appreciated.Nice set.

I used this in a craft project for my mother... She really enjoys turtles. It was the perfect size for what I needed it for. The hand painting was pretty good, the baby turtle seemed a bit lacking in color though. I only ended up using the turtle in the egg. Attached is a pic of my project :) who says these are just toys for kids.

We brought this item to help create a sea turtle life cycle diorama as a part of our daughters science project for school. We paired it with a poster board of her handmade pictures of turtles. It came out so great that her teacher even picked her to represent her class at the science fair. The little characters worked well with hot glue and some felt. Came out great, would recommend for any science projects!

I was really happy with this set. I am a preschool teacher and utilize sensory bins and examination trays with magnifying glasses often in my class, which focuses on Science and art. This set was perfect for this purpose.The pieces were detailed and painted well ,as well as, being a good size for little hands. It also matches up well with many turtle stories,especially "The Tiny Turtle" (a favorite) so we can read the story and match the items with the section/pages being read.

Loved this product. My son started showing interest to learn life cycles and he absolutely loved this one. The pieces are well made and very realistic. I also bought the chicken lifecycle seeing how interested he was and what a fun learning this turned out to be.
