Very brittle and doesn't last long
We bought this for our 8 month old german shepherd who loves to chew on rawhides. We've purchased large ones like this at Petco that last quite a while and we're hoping that this would be equivalent but cost less. Wrong. It's made of very thin layers of rawhide that shaker into little chip like pieces as soon as my dog bit into it. It didn't last long at all like other rawhides do. Don't get me wrong, my dog enjoyed it, but for all of 20 minutes. It may work better for small dogs or dogs who aren't big chewers.

he has loved most rawhides we have gotten him
one of the few rawhides we have bought again for our pup... he loves them! he has loved most rawhides we have gotten him, but he can chomp through a cheap one in no time- literally he can break pieces off and devour them. The chunky chew can last several weeks! It took him a while to get started on it, cannot break off chunks, and the quality seems much better than others- nice and thick all the way through, rather than thick on the ends and thin in the middle. We will be purchasing this again and again!

Made gums bleed
The bone was too hard and rigid for my dog, and it caused my dog's gums to bleed. Had to toss it.

My two Great Danes loved this rawhide
My two Great Danes loved this rawhide. They can usually make it through a rawhide in a day or two and, surprisingly enough, this one was still around a week later.Will definitely purchase again!
