The Dancing Bear

This book is simply wonderful, but I hate reading it to kids because I embarrass myself at the end of the story with tears flooding my eyes. I have a lifelong love of bears and the ending is so sad. The only compensation is that the kids cry with me. They can't help showing emotion too.

My 8 year old daughter loved this book (although very sad ending).

It has an excellent story and is an interesting read so says my 9 yr old son. Definitely worth buying

I bought it to read as a whole class (7&8 year olds) and they all enjoyed this book.

My 9 year old daughter has just discovered Michael Morpurgo as an author and is loving his style. Although the story had a sad ending, it did not detract from beautiful story telling. As an adult I enjoyed the book just as much as my daughter did.
