Penguin Classics Clothbound Anna Karenina Book

The cover was slightly damaged as usual but that is the nature of Penguin Clothbound Editions. They are ravishing but they are delicate and easily hurt :( if you are looking for something that will last longer then get the Everyman's library edition. The packaging wasn't good.

I am writing review on a quality of a publishing more then a book. The quality is good, the pages the print all good. As for the actual masterpiece- it is clever, dramatic and very deep. Forbidden love, aristocracy with all the life drama and shocking end. Everyones life change and never the same... love love

Second read in 30 years. Some of the best direction for a good life I have read. Including 12 step> of course the Greek, Roman Chinese Buddhist and Hebrew have covered similar ethics.

I love anything wrote by or about Leo Tolstoy. This book was a great addition to my collection. There beautifully made and nice to read. They also ook absolutely gorgeous on my bookshelf. I think anyone that wants to read Tolstoy will enjoy this book.
