Magical Irish storytelling. Equally good as book 1
I Really enjoyed the second book in the series, I couldn’t put this one down either. Where as the first book seemed to be set around Iona and her life view, this one is centred around Connor. Lots more magic and spells in this book which was wonderful. But less horses :(Beautifully written, I especially love how she writes about the Irish countryside and weather... and when she describes the meals they prepare and share as a circle, my belly rumbles! She weaves the story as if your right there with them.Wonderful! I’m off to start on book three now! I’ll be sad to finish the last book.

Better than other reviews suggest
I enjoyed reading this. The characters are lovable and humerous, the plot is engaging (though i will admit it is reminiscent of some other works by Nora e.g Three Sisters Trilogy), the writing is fantastic as per usual and the pace is good.I can understand some of the gripes people have with this book but i personally found it an easy read which i was able to immerse myself in and i can't ask for more than that. It's not one of Nora Roberts' best books but it contains the elements of her work that you'd expect to find and make the book fun to read.If you aren't expecting a completely original and spectacular work of art but rather an engaging and well written story then i see no reason why you too wouldn't enjoy this.

Disappointing read
Previously enjoyed Nora Roberts. So many mistakes in the writing, just spoils it for me. Eg who calls a "tap" a "fawcet" in Ireland. Basic mistakes....blah.

it's okay
Not bad but this is not my favourite trilogy by Nora Roberts. All i can say was that it was okay. There was nothing in the story that really caught my attention and dragged me into it. The general story line is much like previous trilogies that Roberts has written but with this one, it's just missing something. I will buy the last book in the trilogy because i do like Nora Roberts' books but sadly with this trilogy, i'm not eagerly awaiting it's release like i normally would for a new book.

I love Nora Roberts books and have read most of her works....lots of them.....I am spell bound by this series and have purchased all 3 of this Trilogy on line. This book was very good value and good condition for second hand....it took a long time to arrive but worth the wait.as it saved me money towards my next purchase.
