Nightwing Vol. 1: Better Than Batman (Rebirth)

First of all, I was so pleased DC decided to put nightwing back in his blue suit. As a long time fan of the character, their decision to put him in red and black during the new 52 comics completely confused me, given the link to the red suit being used during his renegade persona in a pre 52 storyline.But onto the comic itself. (No spoilers).The story is well thought out and well written, but what caught me most was the art work. I have always been a. Fan of the clean crisp art type in comics rather the arty painted type, and this was, to me, very well drawn and coloured giving the panels real atmosphere.My main fear with this series is, as has been a regular gripe of mine with DC recently, the storylines for nightwing will become so intermingled with the other characters that without buying every comic from the bat family, important events may be glossed over or missed completely. Time will tell I guess.Not as good as the pre 52 nightwing series, but better than the new 52 lot. Here's hoping they will keep the stories of One of DCs greatest characters coming, and that the writing and art stay at this standard.

Absolutely loved this book, it's so good to see Dick Grayson as nightwing again after spending time as a spy (really wasn't a fan of that) in the new 52. Intriguing story and good art. It's nice to see the court of owl's return especially given Dick's ties to the organisation and the new character called Raptor is probably the most interesting part of this book.

What can I say?Tim Seely on Nightwing. Fantabulous.This is a brilliant starting point for DC Rebirth. The art by Javi Fernandez really suits the book. I will admit, I am not the biggest fan of Javi Fernandez but this goes very very well with the story by Tim Seely.Anyone who is interested in getting into Nightwing, buy this. You will not be disappointed.

The writer Tim seeley write one of the most sensational comic argument's of Nightwing! The story/comic book is in the same level of snider's storys of batman. To join with this the artist the artist Javi Fernandez draw one of most impressive graphic novells of "Rebirth" line.
