Used this product to remove stubborn Phillip's head screws holding brake discs to the hubs. Worked exactly as advertised. Product appears robust and well made. Not a tool that I shall use regularly as a hobbyist mechanic but when you need an impact driver, you need one; nothing else will do, unless you fancy stripping screw heads and having to drill them out.

The tool works fine and seems good quality but the bits disintergrate almost immediatly. 1st bit loosened 3 out of 12 screws before breaking. The second broke straight away. Also it appears difficult to get replacements for a 5/16 8mm bits. So now I have a job part started and no bits of the correct size.

This is a must have tool to remove the retaining screw on your rotors. It took me 2 days drilling out my front right screw so once this tool came I removed the 2 rear screws in less then 10 minutes!! Absolutely amazing! I have a 2016 Volvo S60 so had to use my own torx bit as this kit just has standard bits but worked perfectly. This is a must have for any DIY guy.

Used it for brake rotor retainer screw release. Awesome.Directions could be better- not sure if it needs to be stored in a specific orientation in regards to the spring loaded end ( like a torque wrench)

It took a while to figure out how it works.If you hold it tight and hit it with a hammer, the bit turns, then turns back. So it just moves in place.You have to hold it loose and hit it. Then the entire device will twist in your hand and progress.It's my first impact driver, and I still do not know if it's supposed to do that, or if it is defective.But it does the job, and it is solidly built.

It kept on switching to tightening instead of loosing every time I hit it with hammer. Do your self a favour buy one that does not switch from right to left. You only need one that loosens.
