Wouldn't recommend
I bought this for my mom, in her late 70's, to keep her brain active. I liked the bigger pieces as her sight isn't great anymore. Though I bought it for an elderly person, I don't think this would even be suitable for kids. The pieces are very difficult to pull apart, and in many pieces, the wood splintered - not ideal for a kid or for my mom.

The material is not good or safe but the puzzle is fun
The puzzle is fun to play with but the material is not good at all. when we opend the puzzle first it was very hard to separate it plus too many wooden splinters got all over the place plus our hands .you have to be very carefull with holding the puzzle pieces.
