I have purchased ink from the Rimage dealer and from Amazon and other sources, the ink from the dealer always lasts much longer. So for me, the extra I pay for getting it from the dealer is paid back by having more usable ink. The ink is older when not purchased through the dealer and it makes a big difference.

### ⭐ Ink cost is huge

I've had a Rimage 2000i for a few years now and it's been very reliable. However, the ink costs are crazy. These tiny cartridges may only last 100 DVD's in full color. Usually I get more than that, maybe 150 full color. That makes the ink over 10x the cost of the disks. These are HP cartridges (already expensive) but chipped so you can't just buy the equivalent HP, which would be cheaper. The print quality is excellent, but putting such a tiny, expensive cartridge on a robotic duplicator is insane.
