If you are looking for a dvd player and a writer for your netbook-this is it! I have an asus netbook and since i love my netbook so much, i have never turned on my laptop in over few months now and since my camcorder and other stuff comes with a cd-rom to edit and what not-there were only two options i had, either to buy an external dvd drive or turn on my laptop-i chose the former. So basically i have used it to upload few new software to my netbook and it works like a pro. No complains. It is beautiful little addition but like other reviewers said-it attracts finger prints like nothing i have seen and since it is so beautiful to look at, it's always an effort trying to keep it as shiny as it came out of the box-didn't know my fingers were that sticky!

Slim is a very good word to describe this product. Can be placed anywhere on a desk or even on top of the computer case itself.Simple Plug-and-Play allow quick connectivity and it's Slim design make it easily be transportable. Great for Music, Data and those classic movies not available on Blu-ray.Recommended.
