We do not use this for riding our bike anymore but we do use it for just being outside because apparently at 3yo ANYTHING COULD HAPPEN WHE N YOU ARE JIT RIDING YOUR BIKE. I think age rage of 5+ is accurate. As it is a little big on my daughter.

Saved my daughter’s life
My daughter (9) was wearing this helmet when she lost control of her bike, couldn’t brake, careened into a tree and was clotheslined by a low-hanging branch. She flipped backward off her bike, hitting her head hard on the ground. While she had a laceration on her neck, she had no other injuries. This helmet protected her head. It did exactly as it should, and I’ll forever be grateful. I’ve ordered another one (once a helmet has done its job once, you need to replace it!). I literally could not recommend something more than I do this helmet. Plus my daughter thinks it’s adorable!
