Q: What is the length of the rubber band?

It starts out about 4" and will stretch to about 8. We tried everything and who would have thought industrial strength rubber bands would have worked the best!!!???

Q: The legs on my sofa are square and larger on top than bottom. Will these work on tapered legs?
