LAST LONG LIFE, VERY NICE!!
I USED DIFFERENT PRODUCT BEFORE, BUT SIZE WAS LITTLE TOO BIG FOR CEILING CIRCUIT, IT FITTED BUT IT WAS ALWAYS DIFFICULT TO PUT IT IN AND GET IT OUT! WHEN I USED THIS PRODUCT, THE SIZE WAS PERFECT AND LAST LONG LIFE, ALSO BRIGHTNESS WAS JUST PERFECT, NOT TOO BRIGHT OR NOT TOO DARK!! I FINALLY FOUND WHAT I LIKE FOR MY KITCHEN AND LIVING ROOM CEILING FLOOD LIGHT BULB!!!! YEHHHH SO HAPPY!!

High failure rate
Purchased 5 of these bulbs a week ago. Two have failed after about 2 hours. A third dimmed to about half advertised luminescence. To make sure it was not the fixture i moved it to another fixture with the same result. These were mounted in a 4" recessed fixture. I will be returning these for LED R20 bulbs.

VHS Cassette In Light Technology
I used plenty of these bulbs for my recess lights in family room; 6 of them to be exact . The light is good ,uniform but it is not stable. Every now and then one of the bulbs need to be changed. Pain. Tired and Went with Philips 425264 12-watt A19 LED Household Daylight Light Bulb, Dimmable .Little bit expensive but compared to these, you are getting a Rolls Royce.Please chose Daylight unless you have a compelling reason to buy soft white, crisp white etc ( fancy names but really these are shades of yellow).I will not stop everything and change these bulbs, but when it dies, will replace with an LED lamp.

Bright Light
I purchased this for a motion detection light for the outside of my house, and it works great! I live by a state park so there are not many lights at all so at night it gets really dark, this bulb made it easy to see from where I park to walking up to my front door with no issues! It has lasted me a long time as well.

Philips 40 watt R20 Ecovantage bulb failure
Beautiful bright halogen light but I've learned to write the date on every new bulb. This one lasted a month! I've had this experience with most new types of bulb I buy because too many fail, even from a reputable company like Philips. Don't they realize what this lack of quality control does to their reputation?

Great replacement
Same brightness as older lights of same brand. But my originals had a brass base. I don't know of any significant advantage
