I just had to give my kudos to this particular back brace, I knew the moment I put it on and strapped it up that it was the single-most user friendly, comfortable, and supportive back brace I had ever put on, and with my 25-year medical history of chronic herniated discs (such as the lower back going out, sometimes to the tune of a 911 ambulance ride followed by epidural pain blocks), and several high end orthopedic "cages" (which insurance paid for but was estimated to be around $6-700 if no insurance), it is my experience which informs me that this model is by far the best designed, lightest, strongest, most comfortable and not so bad to look at if wearing outside of clothes.I wear a black v-neck cotton t-shirt beneath it and I experience no discomfort whatsoeverI am able to sit with it on as well as stand, walk and carry my musical instruments and speakers and what it does is covers and compress not just my lower back, but my lower and upper abdominal muscles, simulating the effect as if I was actually not overweight and out of shape: tightens and secures everything down there so I feel its strength making up for my lack of strength, securing my day so I won't have to worry about throwing my back out as I did a few days ago, before I ordered this wonderful back support,

I'm 6'2, and I got the extra large. It is a little bulky to wear under work clothes. But it provides excellent support. Also helps with posture which increases pain relief. I would have given it 5 stars but as I said it is bulky and hard to wear under your clothes and not be noticed. It is also a little long down your back even with strap adjustment to bring it higher on your back. I have DDD in L1,T12 and T11. Helped reduce pain due to support. Good product, would be 5 stars if not so bulky and had a better fit, but great for support and pain relief.

Was purchased last year to help relieve a lower back hernia with spasms while undergoing physical therapy, since other back braces weren't helping. The brace has held strong since.This offered maximum support for the back and has helped the recovery process after years of back issues. It's most effective for those who sit for long periods due to work, and helps stabilize the back when bending over. It definitely keeps you aware of when you bend your lower back too much.Fits true to size due to the extra abdomen piece especially for an overweight body, but there's nothing wrong with going one size larger since it's adjustable.The customer service is also top notch as well. Would very much recommend this product.Remember: This isn't meant to cure back issues. It's meant to assist and relieve pain. It's most effective in helping the back recover while doing therapy to treat the cause!

Works great, comfortable too wear as far as wearing a brace can be. I like how you can pull on the strings and tighten the brace around the back, it gives you more stability. Very happy with the product.

I have mixed feelings on this brace. On the one hand, it offers exquisitely rigid support throughout the lumbar spine area. On the other hand the dimensions are not made for a ‘normal’ person. I am a 6’0” male, 176lbs with an athletic build. It fits very well everywhere except the top of the brace. It is about 2.5” too high and flares out when you bend down in the slightest. It looks like you have a weird hunchback protrusion; maybe a human-stegosaurus hybrid of some sort. I plan on removing the extra material on top where it begins to flair out and recovering the orthotic. Hopefully, if I can get the edges smoothed out properly I will be able to wear it at work and allow it to do its job. I will update if this works….

Unfortunately I could NOT accommodate it to finish putting it on, the Pain in my Lower Back is Terrible, but the Work I went through the only 2 times I tried to put it on (without results) was WORSE, and now as if it were not enough, the Return I did , does NOT appear . I delivered it Complete, exactly as I received 8/7 , did the Return on Tuesday the 17th in the morning, along with 7 other Items (clothes and Shoes) that did not work for me, 2 hours after I got home I received the Amazon Confirmation for the other 7 Items, but No For the Back Brace, I decided to wait until the next day to call Amazon Customer Service, I had to Read and Repeat to the Amazon Representative the 8 # and letters of my Return that appear on my receipt from the UPS Office, as well as listen to her read them and repeat them to me, to finally tell me that I must wait at least another week to see if the Return clears up. This is very Unpleasant because the Price is enough and I am already almost 59 and I am working very Hard, to have this Sum Missing, it is already 8/20 and I still do not have News of my Return, I imagine that I continue to wait and contact the CS from Amazon Again next week . So think very hard before ordering this Item , because is a Hustle . Good luck to all
