This is a high quality DARK chocolate. It is not for someone who considers cheap milk chocolate bars from the gas station to be the peak of chocolate perfection. This is a deep, slightly bitter, not too sweet chocolate that has absolutely tantalizing hints of fruit that hit the palate late in the process of slowly melting on the tongue. This is one of my favorite chocolate bars. Also love the Eco brand blackout bar which is similar quality but with a smoother finish and less of the hints of wine and fruit. As a serious chocolate addict who only likes 70% or darker, preferably 80% or darker, this is the stuff. Also has the proper certifications to confirm that it was harvested under fair trade practices and not with child labor so you can enjoy your chocolate with a clean conscience. I have found it cheaper in some stores than they sell it here, but it is only available sporadically off the shelf where I live so worth ordering to have a special indulgence always at hand. Highly recommend.

The dark chocolate is very rich and a few bites are enough to satisfy the craving. The chocolate has the right texture, not too bitter and just the right flavor of cacao (if you like seriously dark chocolate). I've purchased direct trade chocolate from other brands/regions which are also good, but this one is definitely my favorite. And with 12 bars, this will last you a while.I also love the customer service and will be buying Beyond Good chocolate for a long time! Plus it makes me happy to know that the cacao farmers are being fairly compensated compensated when you purchase direct trade chocolate.

The chocolate bars had melted and then become solid again and because of that were discolored. I thought it would still be OK, but it changed the flavor and they are not very good. I realize shipping chocolate this time of year is iffy and they are not returnable, so I will just have to throw them away. I’m very sad because I really love these chocolate bars and they’re hard to find.

This chocolate is not for my taste, i’ve had better! It is dark and i know it is more bitter but this one I can’t enjoy! I only had 2 pieces of one bar! Not sure what to do with the rest! Maybe use it in chocolate chip pancakes or muffins .

I got addicted to this product recently, I love that it is organic and it is delicious and not too strong of a dark choc. I ordered this and was sent the wrong type, I live abroad and use a logistics co to get my mail to me so couldn't exchange it but the company kindly reimbursed me which I truly appreciate.

Chocolate was ok but it was delivered not fresh enough

We had bought these from a grocery store and really liked them, but the ones we received are not fresh at all (best before date is in 3 months from the date we received them). They are much harder and not as tasty as the ones we bought from grocery store.

Man oh man this chocolate is good... The shipment arrived ice-cold so my first bite was delightful and fresh. They have only 4 ingredients so you can taste the flavor. They have exactly the right combination of sweet and tart (not bitter like I expected from such a strong dark chocolate). Planning on buying this for friends and family to enjoy. What a special treat!
