I purchased this product a little over a year ago so I would have it on hand when I finished my Neutrogena moisturizer which has been discontinued. The first time I used this , I applied the same amount on my face as my previous moisturizer. The Birch Sap smell was very strong and my face was very sticky after application. However, that is because I used way too much--a little goes a long way if you have combination or oily skin. I love the pump because you can dispense a very little bit at a time. I like that this is oil-free and it works well for my combination skin. I also like that the bottle is clear so you can see how much product is in it. Now that I am using less on my face, I barely notice the smell and the sticky feeling is not a problem. The Yuka app rates this moisturizing lotion 100/100 so if you like clean ingredients on your face, this is a very nice product to use.

Apparently this lotion is a "holy grail" product for many people, so I recently purchased it to see what the hype is about. I've been using it daily for a couple weeks now, and it's already a "holy grail" item for me!It has a very light texture that absorbs easily into the skin. The scent is not too strong, and very pleasant—like tea tree, and reminds me of a lighter version of the scent of COSRX Low pH Good Morning Gel Cleanser. This really is an extremely light lotion, and leaves absolutely no greasy or even soft residue on the skin. It has a more matte finish. My skin is neither particularly dry nor overly greasy, but I think this lotion would be suitable for even greasy skin since it's oil-free.This product is now an essential part of my daily daytime routine. I use just COSRX Natural BHA Skin Returning A-Sol and this lotion before sunscreen, and it is plenty hydrating enough for daytime wear. I do use richer, more emollient products for nighttime, but I've found that this lotion is perfect for reducing potential shininess in the course of the day—especially in the summer. I honestly don't know what birch sap is meant to do as a skincare ingredient, so I can't speak to that.I can say that this formula is exactly what I look for in a daytime lotion and has a permanent place in my skincare routine.

This moisturizer has been the best thing I have used on my face for a long long time. I have purchased this product 5 times, now on my 6th. I feel like I know this product like the back of my hand now.First let me start by saying that if you have DRY or COMBO skin, steer clear of this moisturizer. It is not for you, then you will be complaining in the comments that it didn't do for you what you wanted or were in search of. This is NOT a moisturizer for Dry or Combo skin. This is specifically and more effective on oily skin.This is the only moisturizer that has a similar consistency to the Tatcha water moisturizer but it doesn't melt away as you rub it on your skin and for that I like it. I have tried other Korean moisturizers and have always came back to this one because it is Oil free. It has never broken me out and it has been a staple in my skin care routine. It will keep your skin moisturized enough and alive!! As an oily skin type, this was and is everything I needed in a moisturizer and for that it has my loyalty.The smell is hardly there and it fades away as the time passes while its absorbed into the skin. Please give this a try if you are looking for something LIGHTWEIGHT, it is not heavy and basically seamless throughout the day. THIS IS NOT THE MOISTURIZER FOR YOU IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR EXTRA HEAVY HYDRATION. You will need to sand which it or layer it with something else.That's all I wanted to say about this product. It is the best, anyone stating otherwise in the reviews, did not give it a proper chance and if it does not work for you that is okay, but it's a quality moisturizer for the price!! Best bang for your buck.

I was looking for a light moisturizer for my combination skin. I'm not a fan of the scent. It kinda reminds me of dirty aquarium water. On the bright side, the smell does go away once it settles into your skin. It moisturizes well and doesn't feel greasy. It's very light and has a gel consistency. I would recommend it to anyone with oily or combination skin if you are not sensitive to smells. If you have dry skin, you might need a richer moisturizer.

Though the smell was quite off putting at first, this works quite well. I use this after BPO in my routine and it calms my irritated skin right away. You can feel the skin cool and calm down as soon as you put it on. The texture is quite slimy and it is quite moisturizing. I love it!

This is so good!! So good I’m on my second bottle and half way through ! A little does go a long way . The pump is really nice and no issues there. Not only do I use this after washing my face (I personally have cystic acne) , but I also use it as a make up primer !I will say if you don’t like a very very minimal tacky texture for a moisturizer - this probably isn’t for you . However because it is a bit tacky it makes my foundation stay so good . Overall I just really like the hydration and value for your money . I will keep buying this !
