We have always used Otterboxes on our phones. Sometimes going so far as to buy the case Before the phone. I personally have owned 5 otterboxes on two different phones. The Defender Series Otterboxes cost around 50 bucks, and the rubber outer shell wears out and gets loose in a little less than a year. Without fail. I ordered this case for my son first. It has held up BEAUTIFULLY. So I ordered one for my husband. He uses his belt clip for his phone and this case fits his Otterbox holster perfectly. The rubber outside part seems to be made out of tighter, slightly harder, better plastic. It has retained it's shape so much better than the Otterbox, at a fraction of the price. Just buy it. :)

I received my phone case and put my phone in. The case was a lot different from the previous case I was using and had had since I bought my phone. My old case had survived many years of use and abuse. To make a long review short my new cases belt clip has already come loose from the case support after one week of use. The case itself is nice, durable and I am sure will protect my phone, but I expected this one to be my last case. It won't be since the belt clip fell off.

A good alternative to a otterbox. The rubber overcover has a tendency on some installations to not fit snuggly. I don't have that problem except for the top left hand port, which I believe is the IR blaster. Shaved it with a pocket knife then pressed it hard against my desk to tighten it up.

Bought this to replace an otter box , read the reviews and decided to purchase it, the fit is perfect the screen is crystal clear, other than the name no real difference , buy it you will like it

Cheap Low Quality!!!!! Amazon is trying to pass it off as an Otterbox Case. Very disappointed in the quality and actually thought it was Otterbox case when I ordered it. I should have read the reviews before purchasing. It broke 2 days after the date I could send it back. I will try and get a refund as phone to costly for such a cheap protective case. The old saying really applies to the product. "You get what you pay for"

Although the phone cover is durable the belt clip lacks strength and breaks easily. I bought this for my Dad's phone and belt clip broke within a weeks time.

This product was cheap and made it impossible to use the buttons on the side of the phone. Hearing was difficult as well.

I purchased this a while back for my grandpa he still has it, loves the little belt clip it came with. (The funniest but cutest thing when he has it clipped on his belt❤️) would recommend

I purchase this case to replace an old Otterbox Defender that turned 4 years old and was simply worn out, cracked and getting loose in it’s belt holder. I am simply amazed by the quality and toughness of this new case; its almost identical as the Otterbox Defender. My old Samsung S5 fits like a hand in a glove in it’s new case. It really feels like i have a new phone!*FYI: Otterbox has really poor customer service when it comes to warranty. They don’t carry older cases and they make everything possible to make sure Canadian customers can’t get replacement cases under warranty. On their web site you cant select anymore Samusung S5. They should at the very least offer their customers an option to honor their warranty. I won’t give them business anymore when i upgrade my next cell phone. ToughBox is my new option!
