Char-Broil Universal Bar Burner

Works great

Perfect fit for my old Grill, quite simple to swap between this and the old.

The universal bar burner operates well. My issue with it was that the requisite screws weren't all included in the package. I was able to take screws from the burner I was replacing to assemble the new burner. Also, the two slide pieces that go on each end of the burner don't exactly slide. One was fine (apply some vaseline petroleum jelly to the bar to make the sliding easier). The other side was on so tight, I had to use a wedge and hammer to get it to move so I could get it off to adjust it. The slider pieces seem to be a "Hope it fits" design. Once this issue was solved, I was able to assemble the burner and install it. It works perfectly. I didn't really want to give this four stars because of the issues described above, but I thought three stars was too low. The burner you order may not have these issues... I was just (un)lucky enough to get the one that didn't quite fit together.

After 15 years, the old grill burner was so worn, it had started leaking. This new burner fits in our old Jenn Air indoor gas grill/cook top, so we don't have to compromise on comfort vs. utility, since Jenn Air no longer makes this combination indoor grill and stove top.

The width of this burner is too small. I was able to use it, however I will need to replace it

Good value for the price.

This is a good replacement burner for my 20 year old Char Broil grill. The burner is adjustable in length.

Very easy to put together. Work s great. Just light and burn off manufacturers oil. Bring on the meats!
