A good cookbook for Keto sweets!
There is a lot of useful information in here I love the in-depth guide at the beginning describing things like the ingredients such as binders. For many starting out that information isn’t presented. They merely list the ingredients and half the time it’s so new and unknown that finding it becomes a challenge. Then when the ingredient is purchased the product doesn’t have information on how or why it’s necessary. That and why it’s not something to be omitted.I loved the pictures. The digital formatting needs some work. I struggled to get it downloaded and often the pages overlapped and would not correct themselves. I think a physical copy would be easier to navigate. However, my biggest complaint with this book is the assumption the author makes is that Keto is Low Carb High Fat. Yes, LCHF is a form of KetoDiet however “Keto” is an umbrella term for any diet that allows the body to fall into a Ketogenic state. So to flat out make the statement that Keto is Low Carb High Fat and not include the others helps further the misinformation problem in the keto community. For many, the high fat is not something their bodies can handle. You can include high-fat recipes to a keto style book but to pass on the assumption that to follow keto is only following High Fat very harming. It’s an argument that keeps a lot of people from trying the diet/lifestyle because they require a low-fat diet. I’d urge the author to remember that if he should decide to create other books that keto is an umbrella term and there are many variations that are correct being called a keto diet. It’s not a one size fits all just like not all people enjoy the same foods.Other than that I’d recommend it to others as a beginner set of recipes. They’re well written, easy to understand, and the images aesthetically were nice.

Lots of good recipes in here for those of us with a sweet tooth!
Being a cake and chocolate maker with a phenomenal sweet tooth, moving over to keto was always going to be a challenge So I went on the hunt for some inspiration for alternatives. This book is very good. I haven't tried every recipe, there are lots of them but naturally, I went straight for the chocolate ones! The fat balls are excellent little pick me ups - the only thing is that I absolutely cannot stand stevia. I cannot taste any sweetness and only bitter taste and a furry tongue ewwww.. So those recipes that call for stevia I replace with some of the other sugar alternatives. My favourite recipe so far is the chocolate cake. It is refreshing to see a recipe that is totally flourless and does not include the usual almond or coconut flours. It came out dense and very very chocolately. It was yum! I really recommend this book for those of you that have a sweet tooth but are having to move to keto for whatever reason. Once you have found the sugar alternative that works for your own taste buds (what works for one really doesn't work for another), you don't have to miss out at all!
