The One True God - Biblical study of the Doctrine of God

I have been studying this subject for over 30 years, where I've had an outreach to the cults (more specifically the Jehovah's Witnesses) and I think this is an excellent series of studies.I completed by B. Div (1st Class, Honours) on the subject of the Trinity and the JWs. This book would have been a welcome edition to my reading lists.I, highly, recommend this publication.Well done, Paul.

Great book

I loved the way the book was broken into sections that show every attribute of God, and detailed each. The biblical work was amazing. I learned so much more than by just reading my bible. It is a must for anyone who is trying to be closer with God. It helps to understand Him so much better.

I love anything by Paul Washer. He has an amazing way of bringing me into a closer walk with Jesus by the power of the Holy Spirit. All glory goes to God but I love how he uses Brother Paul. This workbook chronicles a vast array of attributes of God. He has you look up verses and then you write a response. You will get out what you put into this study. I bought one for my husband and his boss who is a Christian. I have put it aside lately because I noticed I was almost done and did not want to finish it yet!! I have no doubt that this workbook was written in fear and trembling. It is not expensive either which is great.

This book is all about the doctrines of God, technically for adults. I am a youth minister and want my teens to have robust Sunday school material. Lots of stuff for teens tend to be too much spoon-feeding or simply lacking in substance. This book is neither. It doesn't spoon-feed because to go through the book one must look up a ton of verses. He doesn't just tell you a summary of what the Bible says about God, He gives you so many verses that you look up. It's a good "See for yourself" approach. I'm teaching a group of 9th graders right now with this material and they enthusiastically look up the verses to read out loud for the class. They've come along way since I first got them as 7th graders. Using Sunday school materials that mentally stimulates while spiritually strengthening them are a huge part of that. Also this Sunday school material is not soft. I've seen material that's very vague or only scratch the surface. This book goes deep. Check out the table of contents and you'll see. Also I love how Washer includes a "How should you respond?" set of Bible verses after each topic about God. Too many Bible teaching materials leave one wondering "So what?", but Paul Washer includes Bible verses that describe how Christians should react/live in accordance with these attributes of God.

This is a great workbook, that is well put together. It is a very systematic and eye opening. I am currently using this book to teach HS teens what the bible says about the One True God. This is a must for all Christians of today who want to be directed to key passages about who God says He is. This is a cut above anything else out on the internet or in the store hows today. Also is didn't cost anything to download it from the heart cry website. It is a free resource if you want to print it off yourself. It was so good I bought the softcopy. I think my church will be doing all of Paul washers books soon.

One of the very best inductive Bible studies I have ever done. Paul Washer guides you to the scriptures and has you look them up for yourself. He does not tell you what to believe but has you search it out for yourself. Before doing this study, I though I was reverent toward God, but this revealed to me (simply by pointing out the scriptures) that I am not even close to where I need to be regarding revenence. He does an excellent job of helping you discover just how amazing God is. It is very eye opening, convicting and challenging but oh so worth it! I bought 2 more to go through it with my teenagers. It's THAT good!
