Size Matters
Some reviews say it's great, while others say it is too small. This is because Kohler makes it hard to know which size hook you need for your jets. Size matters. The smaller whirlpool jets require a wire hook, while the larger jets require this plastic hook. If you can, find a picture of the removal tool in the parts list of your product's manual. That'll show you what you need. If it looks like a wire hook, this will be too big. If it looks like this picture, you'll get what you need.

Does NOT Work Do NOT Buy!
Many of the reviews said it did not work, but I was desperate. After 10 years I knew I needed to clean the jets from my Kohler Bancroft jetted tub but the installers lost the tool. I dreaded what was in the jets so I ordered it anyway, it was like $4 whats the harm? The harm is it does not work! I got the piece that matches my installation manual (plastic not wire) it just wouldn't catch to anything inside the jet ports. It was almost to the point where the plastic might have broken so I started looking for what else to use instead. Someone suggested an allen wrench, I couldn't make that work , but this worked for me instantly, an offset screwdriver. The flat head side specifically. Don't buy this plastic crap! Get the offset screwdriver instead and you can use it for many other things around the house. This jet removal tool doesn't even do what it's supposed to. I am returning it for my $4 back.

Exactly what I needed
Reliev3d I ordered the right tool!! I moved into an apt that has a kohler jetted tub and the first time I ran oh yuk through the jets it looked like the grudge was trying to come out of the jets. The prior tenants were *gross* never cleaned the jets while living here so I was tasked with an intense cleaning. The oh yuk tried its best but I needed to yank the jets out to clean behind them and thanks to this little plastic stick I was able to scrub everything back there.

Works but with difficulty
OK - Lot's of complaints about how this won't grab the lip inside of the jet. That is true. It needs to be 1/16" longer to really be effective. That said, I discovered that you need to turn the large ring that controls the water flow volume (not the direction) all the way clockwise. Then the whole jet assembly pops right out with minimum tugging and pulling. Same thing when you replace the jet assembly - gently rotate the assembly in the opening until you feel it slip farther in. Push gently and it pops right back into place. If you are forcing it, it's not seating properly. Keep rotating it.

Defective junk
Previous reviews are correct about this item being useless. The plastic is too thick and clunky to pop the jet covers off. I’m surprised they even sell this.

but the tool actually works - it's ridiculously easy to pull jets out with this
The shipping costs are absurd, but the tool actually works - it's ridiculously easy to pull jets out with this. Glad I bought it.

Might Be A Great Tool But Didn't Work For Me
We have a Kohler whirlpool tub that came with the house. I would guess it's 10 to 12 years old. I have no idea what the model number is and I have no instruction manual for the unit. The tub has six jets and they all work. The problem I'm having is on most of them the outside trim ring won't rotate so the jets can't be adjusted or shut off. I thought I'd remove them and try some silicone grease on the 'O' rings. If there is a trick to removing the jets with this tool I haven't discovered it. I tried it on several of them and was not able to remove them with the tool. I have no idea if the tool is the right one or not for my tub but I thought I'd give it a try.
