This is a great tool for students or anyone new to the field of Neurology, Pain Management, or Neurosurgery. This easily attaches to your badge buddy and is a great tool to use until you memorize the dermatomes.

Since I don't have to think about the dermatones very often, it is a great tool to have and refer to when someone is c/o pain in addition to numbness/tingling, etc. Using critical thinking it helps you determine other areas/ways to assess the issue as described by the patient. And who knows, maybe one day I will move to the OR or recovery unit and having already had this will make the transition a little easier?! Would be nice if the hole was made on the side for landscape than on the end for portrait so it fit nice behind my badge, but it will work out.
