This blade has the set of the teeth split in mid blade with the ones on top pointing down, and the ones on the bottom pointing up, as a result, it cuts on both the downstroke and the upstroke so both surfaces are smooth. IT works great for cutting malemine coated shelving for this reason and leaves a nice finished cut.

Q: Does it fit all jig saws?

It fits most modern jigsaw that take the Bosch "T" style shank for slip in mounting. Older jigsaws used a clamp and screw to hold the blade in place - these blades are sometimes called "U-shank"
