Good and bad, it gets warm/hot very quickly. A little difficult adjusting the heat settings. So far, battery life is good. Blanket has been used three times for a total of three hours without recharging the battery.

Doesn't heat very much. And the design for the powerpack is not good. The powerpack keeps sliding out, which in turn turns the blanket off. The powerpack must have fell out one day carrying it to call. I've been trying & trying to communicate with the manufacturer, andthey never get back to me. It's been over 2 months now. It is nothing but a useless small blanket that doesn't help much. Wish they would either exchange, or give me another powerpack. :(

This is my second, battery quit charging after 2 yrs

I bought these for my sons football and cold hockey games. I purchased the one with the battery pack because there were so many bad reviews about the phone app one. When you first get it, you have to fully charge it. I finally got it going and it’s warm and gets warmer over 10 mins. Not hot, just warm which is nice because it doesn’t burn you or get overwhelming. The blankets alone are very nice because they are light, an awesome material on both sides and when you fold them, they aren’t bulky. Easy to carry around with you for sports events without carrying a huge blanket around. The folded nice in my car trunk and we’re light weight to carry around. Sleek and black which I really liked! While the battery was charging, we used them without the battery and they are still nice and kept us warm! My husband liked them! They kept us warm in a cold hockey rink without the battery or heat even. For $23 they are an awesome deal! Get the black/khaki one! 👍

I ordered 3 of these and had to return 2 of them. One didn't work at all, the other didn't heat up the proper area. The one that did work, did great. This was used to keep warm during a couple of nights of watching movies at a drive in. It lasted a bit under 4 hours on high.One of the bigger drawbacks that I had was it seemed like a very long time to charge the battery. The 2 that were returned took over 8 hours. I'm not sure if that's normal or not. The battery itself isn't that large, so it should not be the case.I would rate 4 stars for the one that worked, but obviously a 1-star or N/A for the two that were returned. Hopefully they can work out the bugs and they will have a decent product.

I am so pleased with this blanket so far. The battery lasted for the 2 hour cold baseball practice and I was warm the entire time! I worry if the battery breaks that not just any battery pack will work with the plug on the blanket. I purchased that portable heated blanket and I bought a returned/reduced price product so I got it for a great deal. Even if this product fails after one season of baseball I would hope for warranty or I’d buy again for future cold outdoor activities.Update. Still working great! My husband is a Marine and he took it with him to the field to use at night in his tent. He was able to recharge the battery during the day so it was ready for the cold night. The battery worked for about 4 hours.

I ordered this blanket because Eddie Bauer was a name I trusted. The instructions stated to call their customer service first if there was a problem. I did because the battery did not have the features stated. In addition, when the battery was fully charged and inserted into the blanket it shut down. Their customer service rep returned my call, I explained the problem and was told that she would refer this to a supervisor. I even sent pictures of the battery to make sure I had the right one. Nobody got back to me and I have a useless blanket. I guess now it will become a mat for my dog. I disappointed that a company will not stand behind their product.

The media could not be loaded. My employer is making us return to the office this winter and my office is freezing. Unlike my home office I can’t control the temp, wear cozy sweats, or plug in a space heater so I decided a battery operated heated throw would make things less miserable. If I can’t be cozy at home at least I won’t freeze to death.In looking at the pictures I thought it was water resistant fleece on both sides, but the black side is actually plastic like material that is loud and rough (submitted video with this review).While the blanket is a decent size and covers my lap, the heated portion is only about 6”x 24”. On the bright side, set to high it did warm up quickly and was quite toasty so it should be sufficient for my needs. Not sure about actual outdoor use, I’d probably would have to pair it with a heated vest and socks or something to avoid hypothermia.About the price/value. When I purchased it the cost was around $28 and I was thinking maybe I overpaid but at least it came with a hefty power bank which I noticed many sell separately and it can be machine washed. At the time of this review I saw in a week’s time the price has MORE than doubled! Had I paid more I would have promptly returned it.Hope this helps you make an informed decision. Stay toasty friends!
