Great for Hammock Camping
Brilliant worth the money, will update after more use.

Fab warmth. Tricky to deflate.
I loved the warmth of this instantly but it was too wide for my bridge hammock so replaced with lux wide in the same range which is perfect.

Punctured after 6 camps of light careful usage
I bought this pad on lots of YT recommendations. Last night I froze because it went flat in the middle of the night. I've only ever inflated it in the hammock, it rarely touches the floor except to roll up, and even then I'm exceptionally careful. This is either a manufacturing defect or a design flaw, I have no idea, but it was way too expensive for this kind of an experience. Very disappointed and angry, I can't afford to lose 130 quid like this. Unreliable, and in colder temps, dangerous.

Klymit are great value
Works incredibly well. Packs down to something approaching a round a litre in size.

Punctured
Bought this a few months ago only just had the chance to try it out, noticed it kept on delaying during the night, thought it might be due to cold temperatures . Got home and checked it out and it was punctured. Came with a puncture kit and still hasn’t resolved the issue. I know i’m out of returns period but i’d like a replacement or possibly a refund so i can order another.

Didn't hold air for more than three hours
Had such potential. Incredibly fast delivery. Unfortunately my first try in the hammock after about three hours or so I was laying on a flat air pad. Had to blow up again then eventually had to remove it as it wasn't staying inflated. Gkad I wasn't away for a few days winter hammocking or id have been stuffed. Had it not deflated on its first use I'd have thought it was great as it didn't move about. I returned it immediately. The return was easy enough. Shame but I was put off by a fault first go snd couldn't take a chance on a winter trip. Cant recommend

Stays inflated for weeks!
I had my eye on this for the better part of a year and read all the reviews. For some expeditionary sleeping arrangements that I required recently, I invested in this and have been entirely pleased. While many hammock sleepers may prefer a double hammock, this pad fits equally well in a single. In fact, the “V” creates more roominess by helping to spread the fabric. My purpose was to build a personal sleeping system that can fit in my ruck and be used in forest as well as flatland. For that reason, the additional width of the “V” makes for a very comfortable ground pad.I wanted the additional insulated version to cover the winter months. I can sleep quite comfortably when paired with a cocoon style sleeping bag.By no means ultralight, the V in conjunction with hammock, cocoon, and stasha tarp offer options for a variety of terrain and climate while still weight less than a USMC sleep and shelter system. As part of testing out my setup, I found the V to remain inflated for weeks as I keep my setup in my back woods. We did receive some heavy rain, and while everything else was able to air out, the V notches held some rain water. Removing was as simple as shaking it off.

A new level of hammock camping comfort
So far so good. I had read a few negative reviews about air leaking in cold temperatures but that was not my experience. The one way valve worked well. I inflated the mat with about 15 breaths to full but needed to deflate it a little for sleeping. With a normal sleeping pad I'd sometimes wake up in the morning with it half off one side of the hammock. This pad stayed in place in the hammock. It did not shift at all during the night. I purposely shifted around in my sleeping bag to test out the sides, find cold spots, any sort of negative. There were none.Comfort was next level. Like spooning with Stay Puft Marshmallow man while he gently rocks you to sleep.I was really worried I'd regret this purchase. Considering that it cost as much as all my other sleeping pads combined it had better be good. In comparison to my other sleeping pads it is lighter and more compact and will now be the only sleeping pad I will take when I hammock camp.

Luftläckage
Surt att vänta i nästan tre veckor och få ett exemplar som läcker luft.

it does have some weight
Well field tested this pad this weekend 04/7&8/2023, did great. 22 degree weather at night, used it on the ground and in a hammock!! Worked perfect. Some people said air leaked from the valve?? I had no trouble with that issue. Just make sure you get the valve cover closed all the way. Its over priced, worth 100.00 bucks yes, but you live and learn. Would i pay 160.00 again, NO but I am happy with the Klymit V pad.
