Tower T838005W Sensor Bin with Retainer Ring, Battery-Operated, 50L, White

Good bin, easy to remove waste and the sensor isn't too sensitive, but works when you want it to. Feels sturdy, not too expensive and looks good. Long battery life too.

Really happy with this bin. Very big but rectangular shape means its not in the way. Some reviews mentioned the automatic lid stops working - in have seen this sometimes if you've manually shut the lid that it won't then automatically open until I manually open it and let it automatically shut but not really an issue. Cheap supermarket own make batteries have lasted just over a month in a busy house with kids who think its funny just the open the bin because they can.

Looks smart but the lid did break after severalMonths. They replaced it with no problem

When I read the mixed reviews about this bin, I was a bit unsure but I desperately needed an alternative than hanging a bin bag on my kitchen door. The dog was always getting stuff from it. I don't have much room for a bin in my kitchen so I needed something slimline but large enough for a family of 4 household with a cat and a dog.I have had this bin for a month now and I love it. I really like the fact that it is an automatic close system, so you don't have to touch the bin at all. It is really easy to operate and clean. It fits in a small space and I've turned it so it doesn't sense people walking past it. The sensor seems to be working well and I'm still using the original batteries (these are not included).The only awkward thing is trying to keep the lid open longer. It is possible if you make sure you stand in front of the sensor when emptying stuff into the bin. This will keep it open until you walk away.I would buy this bin again and it was a good price when I purchased it from Amazon.I just need to figure out a way of stopping my dog purposely using his nose to use the sensor to open it! Hahaha!

Absolute rubbish (pardon the pun). I bought this less than a year ago. The product has a 3 year warranty. I have contacted the company to let them know the auto door unit no longer works. I have tried two new sets of batteries, I have reset the unit as per instruction. I have cleaned the unit as per instruction. I have contacted the company and provided them with all the necessary details including invoice details and no one has even bothered to contact me. If you go on to the Contact Us page there is no contact number. You really have to dig to find any way of contacting this company. It is all smoke and mirrors. Do not buy.

Lovely bin great colour just wot I wanted got all the tower stuff to go with my navy and white kitchen but haven’t had it a year and the lid has broken of it I am so upset as it is not a heap bin

Matches my kitchen perfectly. I chose the cream one. Sturdy and great 50l capacity bin. Sensor is great - opens and closes without having to touch the lid.

Good looking bin but sensor only worked for a few weeks.
