Aztec makes great cables.
Bought the PTFE coated cables for an install with Shimano Ultegra. So far, so good. I didn't provide a 5-star rating because I can't judge the durability. However, I have used Aztec SS cables for previous builds and am extremely happy with their other products. Give me a season of riding and may upgrade to a 5-star.Note that these, like any other cables will often be susceptible to fraying after cutting and you must use end-caps. I have a good quality cable cutter and also wrap a small piece of tape around the cable prior to cutting.I will use Aztec cables on future builds that require a Teflon coated cables.

Great for shifting
These teflon coated cables require no lube or PTFE treatment, as I've been doing for my steel cables by running them through a napkin with teflon chain lube. Teflon needs no introduction as to its benefits. These glide very smoothly through my outer cable housings and my shifting has never been easier or quicker. The difference is amazing. I'll never use anything but these again. Never.

I've used these for over a decade.
For best results, combine these with a good lined housing. The coated cables are, for all practical intentions, damn near frictionless when run in a lined housing no extra lube required. I've run this setup for years rain or shine on all my bikes with no issues. It's almost a "set it and forget it" deal.

Nice cable and it really improves brakes
Replaced the brake cable on an old Schwinn I was rebuilding. Also installed a set on an old Falcon bike. On both bikes these cables really improved the response of the brakes. On the Falcon I've had them on for over a year and they still work nicely.

Really low friction
Really low friction, especially when used in inherently low friction cable housing with some synthetic grease. The cut end will frizz very easily unless it's properly bound up.

absolutely unbelievable service -- blame the customer
Bought their "road brake cable set" (housing + 2 cables) for a 56cmbike.On trying to install, discovered that they'd given way too little housing. My bike has an internal cable routing through the top tube, not thesplit ends. The amount of housing was enough to do the rear brakeand about 4" left over. basically over 1' short.Sent an email first. No answer after a week.Called their 800 and talked with the office manager.Explained the situation, and was told1) I should buy another cable set because I have an old bike and "youshould have known that you'd need more"2) asked for a piece of housing to do the front brake, and she repliedthat "I can't just GIVE you that. that would cost me money and wouldn'tdo me any good. your local bike shop can probably just give yousome cable housing" (hmm, why would I have just bought some tefloncables?) "we distribute someone's brake cables from some factory in taiwanand can't really ship you one" (despite the fact that you can order fromtheir webpage)3) oh, and in response me stating that I would post a bad review --"well, I've got your CallerID and we'll get you for slander"Hard to believe companies and service departments like this exist anymore.I've got 11 bikes. They got me on one set of cables, but not another. So go to Amazon, ebay, or elsewhere and look up "teflon cables" or"teflon brake*" and you'll get lots of other options, some of which willbe identical to these and from companies that understand customerservice. I tried one of these, and the construction was identicaland they were cheaper.I'll say thanks also to Amazon for having the guts not to squelch badreviews, even though I'm sure it hurts their bottom line. It sure makesme choose to buy from them rather than the alternatives.

The best cables
I love the PTFE coating, which helps to keep the strands intact.
