Sure beats using fingers and abrasive.
I love this brush and didn’t know this small size existed. The bristles work well and provide for many uses. The handle is a great help and is comfortable in my palm.

Essential tool for HVAC lineset
Used this for a new AC lineset installation. It's hard to find a 3/8" brush at your local store as this is a very uncommon pipe size. Worked well to clean out copper pipe before brazing.

Sold as 1/4 inch, marked as 3/8 in
Bit confusing as the brush is sold as 1/4 inch, but the brush is marked as a 3/8 inch. It is a little large for a 1/4 Refrigeration tube, but you have to really cram it in there and disfigure the brush.

Seems like a nice solid wire brush but came in the wrong size.
I purchased this wire brush to clean out a metal tube I had. I was stumped when it didn't fit, so I remeasured my tube. I then looked at the wire brush and right on the back of it, it was marked 3/8".... not the 1/2" brush I ordered.I gave it three stars since it was a nice brush and Amazon handled a refund very well. I still had to deduct for the fact that it was the wrong size.

Label on Package says 1/4", but 1/8" is stamped on the brush handle
Label on Package says 1/4", but 1/8" is stamped on the brush handle. I asked for a replacement,and it was the same thing, 1/4" on the package & 1/8' on the brush handle.
