I have a ceramic tree that is over 50 years old. The wiring was so old I was afraid to light it. I was delighted to find this kit. It matched the old wiring a socket exactly and was so easy to rewire the tree. It even included a new light bulb. Now I am able to enjoy a family treasure again.

I purchased this kit to restore an old vintage ceramic Christmas tree that belonged to my mom. At first I was a little confused on how to make it all work, but after a few attempts I got it. It's working great and the tree looks so pretty lit up once again. The old electrical still worked, but it was so old, I was worried it would cause a fire someday. Anyways. for the money, you can't really beat this to bring your old tree back to life.

This was a perfect replacement for our cord. When we plugged our original cord in this year, after 20 years old, it was acting like a short in the wires and wires had a hot smell odor. This was exactly the replacement needed and an easy assembly fix. All set for the next 20 years !

I was looking to update the plug for a ceramic Christmas tree and found this item with the bulb for a good price. It arrived with the bulb packaged carefully. It only had a diagram and not step by step instructions but I left the task to my 11 year old while I supervised. He figured it out and had it assembled in 15 minutes only stopping to confirm he had the wires correct and ask for help securing them. It works great and now I have piece of mind that there isn't an old plug just waiting to start an electrical fire.

I purchased a box lamp for one of my friends back in the 90s. Last year the switch broke. I found this to be a great replacement since I could attach the wires after installing the base in the block of wood at the bottom. It was quick and easy and seems to work really well.I think this would also be great for making your own special lamp or illuminating something that wasn't intended to be light up. The bulb is incandescent so remember to make sure there is adequate ventilation and there is nothing heat sensitive in what you're making.

I had A ceramic Christmas tree that I made back in the 1980s and it wasn’t working. Really happy to find this set to make my tree work again. All parts arrived in perfect condition and I have my ceramic Christmas tree back again! Very, very happy with this!

Used for a porcelain Christmas tree

I am certainly not someone who can usually wire even simple things, but I was really proud to be able to do this all on my own. The instructions were easy to understand and it fits my mom's tree perfectly.So important as it is a family heirloom. I'm so glad I was able to find this piece and make it part of my first Amazon order- EVER!!
