Hands down, the best dog grooming tool out there! I have had GSDs for over 20 years and if you have one, you know why we call them German Shedders. They only shed once a year, but it lasts 365 days! I have used the Furminator on them and thought I was doing a good job removing the fur. Nope! I saw a groomer on Facebook recommend this tool and thought, what the heck, I'll give it a try. I'm soooo glad that I did! After only a week, of brushing every day, all the loose fur is gone. All of it! It doesn't pull the fur and the fur doesn't fly everywhere when you brush. The fur stays on the prongs and you can easily remove it.Give this grooming tool a try. You will be glad that you did!

My dog is a mostly Great Pyrenees mix and has crazy thick fur. These get down into it all better than any other brush I've tried. With shedding season coming, I'm glad I have it. The comb helps a lot, too. Good quality. Good grip.

Grooming a big fluffy dog has its challenges. I love this rake style because it painlessly gets through the hair. Then I comb her afterwards. Zero mats, zero struggles to groom. If there are mats, the rake breaks them up. But on a regularly groomed dog, this makes quick work and avoids the painful mats. Happy dog happy mama! Lol.

I bought this as a second cashmere comb, we have one similar one and it works great for removing the cashmere fiber undercoat from our cashmere producing goats when they are shedding. Two combs lets two people comb one side each--faster and easier for the goat. The grooming comb works for our goats too. They LOVE it when we use it to comb their cheeks and between the horns.I don't know how it would work for dogs, but I would assume it would work just as well on a dual coat dog as the goats are dual coats as well.

This is the most amazing brush I have ever used on my cat. He LOVES the type of brush with tiny metal wires, but those bend easily and therefore do not get a lot of the thick fur out. I've used the type of furminator that has 1 row and it gets the fur, but he hates it. This rake he likes and gets all the furry undercoat out. The comb is also amazing because it has one side with prongs wider apart and the other side is closer.

Use it for my long haired cat. He tolerates this one better than the other rakes and combs I have for him. He likes to fight the comb that comes with it but that does a good job too.
