Q: How much are the filters and where can you buy them?

There are no filters to replace. The evaporator mat is a washable filter and will last up to 3 years.

Q: How to clean the evaporator mat? I've been washing it frequently in the laundry but even that, it has a "pink" color. (with normal detergent)

Some discoloration to the mat is not uncommon and is often caused by minerals in your local water. If you have some discoloration on your mat that you would like remove, you can add a little bleach to the laundry while washing the mat.

Q: I just plugged in my new boneco 200 and it is making crackling sounds like dry or dirty in a brand new unit. Is that normal? What is the sound?

I don’t think you should hear a crackling sound. If it were me, I would check the filter and make sure it was intact and rinse out the water basin and refill. If all looks good and you still here the noise call customer service. Disregard if if you think crackling sounds like electricity! If electrical, unplug immediately and call customer service!

Q: How big of a space does it cover?

Hi Susie, I have used mine on low in a 12x16 bedroom at night only and it is marvelous. Using it on high in a 30X40 combined family room office area 24-7 is satisfactory as well. Hope this helps! Don
